He says straight up the reason they didn't move the plant was because sales were down and they didn't need the added capacity. He did say he see's more positive manufacturing environment under Trump.. But sorry to burst your bubble they didn't keep the plant because of Trump, they kept it because they didn't need the one in Mexico.

I mean lets think about this, it really is thanks to Obama as Obama pushed the green mandate and helped fund electric car tech. The Mexican car plant was going to product normal style cars which run off gas.
The Michigan plant is producing electric cars. It's two completely different products. Reality is electric car sales are up and that's where Ford see's it's future so they abandoned the traditional car plant they were going to use to build more electric cars here in the US..
