A video player window is the best place to be used for ads. For example, I can play the same videos as ign.com (put any video source there), but with my own ads. E.g. every video about a new computer game will send a visitor right to my amazon account where he can instantly buy it. The same way works if you sell toys, electronics, t-shirts or even cars, houses and whole islands ;)
