Why should they shut up? They have just as much right to speak their opinion as you do. If you don't like what they are saying you have the freedom to not listen. If you decide you don't like them after they give their opinion then don't watch their TV shows or go see their movies.

Saying they should shut up and not speak about matters that don't include movies and acting is like saying you should shut up and not speak about anything that isn't porn related.
