That is the big difference between directive and creative advertising.
You also create good top-of-the-mind branding with adwords or search advertising without offending anyone.
Endless pop ups also create top-of-the-mind branding but it's more are you remembered for the fuckin' pop up/under or overlay that is a pain in the ass -- these are cheap if they actually get delivered -- we have tracking in real time in our nosql/big data server.
We use both types of ads ... We don't make money usually on the first 2 or 3 converted customer buys -- 3rd buy on the profit starts.
