It also depends what you are working on.
If you're working on graphics where color is important, you have to disable that feature. But if you're reading, coding, etc, it might be a good idea.
You can also use a dark theme for your OS, or at least in the program you are using. I write HTML on a Mac and use BBEDIT for my editor, and it has a great dark theme. If you're reading stuff on Google Chrome, there is an inverse-color plug-in you can get. It's not perfect but it works on most sites.

yeah, we´ve been disabling it, as it can be very dull and green, how ever, when typing a lot, it has been less strain on the eyes using the smart button
