No he didn't. He alienated the liberal PD media and people who are more worried about minorities rights than the majorities rights.
Obama, Bush, Bush and most of the recent Presidents have been borrowing to make things look good. The UK has plunged itself into debt to cover up the fact that it's getting worse. Need I remind you about Spain's borrowing?
