It's BS scare tactic, they can likely only prove a handful of people did anything, like say the kid in the picture. The cops rounded up anyone they thought were causing problems.

A couple of people will actually get charged, the rest will get off. The DOJ will likely try to force them into "plea bargains" to get a few convictions, which some will take because they are stupid or use a public defender. The bulk will be let go because it will be impossible to prove to a jury they did anything other than protested and were rounded up due to a few baddies actions and overzealous cops.

Sorry but they need proof of each person committing a crime not just because they were arrested at the wrong place and a cop said they were a baddie.. This is why they wear hoods, so witness testimonies do little to help in their convictions. It's a lot of hoopla intended to be spread to scare others from protesting..

Sure some of them deserve to be convicted, but most will be let go due to lack of evidence..
