Fascism is not inherently or exclusively right wing. That is just a lie that leftards made up to demonize and smear their opposition. They are still doing it. And normal people are tired of it. Left wing parties now attract a far greater share of radicals and extremists and people with fascist tendencies than do right wing parties.
