"why am i still fat? well, i am weak-willed and it's an easy habit to break (because carbs = deliciousness)"

That's why I said look at it like a change of lifestyle, not a diet. There is no over-all secret to weight loss, other than eating healthy and exercise. I know that and I am guilty of not following it all the time. It's just that people have different ideas about what healthy is and i tried to toss my 2 cents in, again, speaking of past experiences. if you can stick to the change of diet, then... good.

At the weight I start(ed) 2kg / week is OK, sure later on it must be subsidized to a healthy 0.8-1kg / week.

I just wanted to show what should be put into your mouth and how to exercise.
Atkins diet works too, there is a counter-argument "yeah but he died fat!!" well, he created the diet but did not follow it. try to look at me like him a bit ;)
