i can tell you one reason for example: because the new powers at work propose lowering restricions for banks, bank shares go up. this is awesome because exactly those restrictions were introduced after 2008 to prevent this from happening again and now we're going to be set up for the next Lehman Bros. adventure. Maybe Goldman Sachs this time?
