The Gray Davis recall in cali.

I know I'm liberal, which I guess makes me a little biased on this issue, and I'll admit that from the very begining.

However, am I the only one that thinks a mid-term recall election is a bad idea for california?

Here are the facts:

1) Gray Davis is a BAD governor, he's not the worst ever, but he isn't a good one, that's for damn sure

2) Gray Davis was elected governor by registered voters who actually took the time to go to the polls and VOTE!

3) the recall was voted on by angery non-voters who took all of 5 seconds to sign a petition at there local wallmart

4) the california state budget deficiet is roughly that of all 49 other states combined.

5) this is NOT Gray Davis's fault, no matter how much you want to be able to blame him. He is a bad governor, however he had no control of the dot com bubble bursting, rapping the silicon valley revenue, Dick Cheney and crew fleecing the state over for BILLIONS with cooked ERON books, and the War on IRAQ rapping even more federal funding.

I dont like Gray Davis, but I feel if you elect someone, you are stuck with them for the whole term, unless they do something bad like lie about a blowjob =)

Any thoughts?
