Israel has a visa free regime with Russia. Many citizens speak Russian natively, there are newspapers and lots of other things are also used to be written in Russian. If a Russian travels to Israel, he feels it like home
You will see the same picture in Brooklyn on the Brighton Beach which is mostly populated by the Jewish immigrants from the USSR. The funny thing is that they don't want to integrate and to change. They have escaped from the USSR but they took the USSR into the States. When a modern Russian enters that district in NYC, he thinks: "WTF is this? Do they have a time machine? It's like I was sent to the Soviet Union of 70's."
