Good luck selling .coms in that are declining in price -- dot com means absolutely NOTHING in SEO or EMD.
I bought about 20 new gTLDS to develop. So, I am a fucking idiot that spent a couple hundred dollars -- that is chicken feed to me. If one or two domains is marginally profitable they will produce thousands in revenue over the next 5 years -- junk the rest of the names -- reuse the platforms and content -- who cares.
Domains to me are about developing I invest in financial markets not in pony races and long shots.

the return you can get in selling domains is much better than financial markets could ever give. i sell domains i buy for 10 bucks for 1000 every day and that is on the low end. try to get that kind of return anywhere else.
if new gtlds sold like .com's sell, i don't care i'd buy them but they don't. will they in the long run? possibly but i can make just as good money now with .com's instead of waiting 5-10 years for payout.
with new gtlds registrys are the domainers, so there is much less room for profit with premium renewals, tens of thousands of domains held back and sold, etc.
