Treason against Russia for providing information about the hacking to the U.S. or sources connected to the U.S. I would assume.

I have also seen rumors that some of them might have provided the info to the Steele guy or to American intelligence confirming that the Russians did the hacking.
Don't know for sure though but it does look like Russia is cleaning house for some reason.
