Iran has Zoroastrian and Bahia Minorities as well as Christians.
Syria has a few Jewish minorities people left so does Iran (not many).
Religious persecution has been a long standing immigration refugee status. Years ago I had a GF from Moscow her brother was given refugee status due to political incarceration and religious prosecution for being a Jew. He and his sister, her daughter and her estranged husband were all granted asylum in the USA.
