You people are just too damn stupid. Trump didn't draw up plans for the raid. It's pretty fucking obvious that people with the military do that. They had enough confidence in their plan to ask Trump for approval.

And who cares about civilian deaths? They are the ones harboring the bad guys. And I wouldn't shed a tear for killed children either. Look at all of those videos coming out of Isis of kids killing their prisoners. "child casualties" in those parts are just pre-crime executions.
