Fucking cunts! I payed a small fortune for 3 seats a week in advance to go see Trainspotting 2 today! I was going to go with my son and his wife, and i'd spared no expense and plumped for premium seating in the VIP area etc... Really expensive...
Anyway, in the last few days I've developed a nasty cough, and it wouldn't be fair to subject a cinema audience to it, so I rang up and asked if I could have a rain check on the 3 seats. Sorry sir, NO REFUNDS ! I explained that I didn't want a refund, and all I wanted to do was to use the money they already had towards a different showing at a later date. No dice. If I didnt attend tonight then I'd lose my money but if I did attend and coughed, I'd be asked to leave -

So, I stayed home, and my son went with his wife and put both of their coats on 'my' empty seat. Then he launched skype on his phone, and sat the phone on top of the coats. This worked really well, as I was still able to talk to my son and wife as if I were indeed sat next to them as I had paid to do. Had I coughed, I would have muted my volume. Simples and

This worked great for about 15 mins before the phone was switch off by a burly security guard and my son and wife were forced to leave.
