Fred Shero gets a lot of the credit, but I think Shultz is the guy who changed the entire mindset of that team.

They were obviously before my time, I was born in 1986, but I remember watching my dad's old tapes of those games - he was a HUGE Flyers fan and I fucking love Dave the hammer...they even beat the shit out of the russian heavy hitter team and made them go home back in 1976 or 77

Yea and the funny thing is they aren't even that big...but were tough as fucking nails and came to play EVERY DAY
