The World did move on into the modern age... yes there are orthodox Jews, Christians, and other minor religions, BUT none of them takes the word of their God literally any more not in public anyway. If they did, they would be in jail for murder, rape, pedophilia and host of other crimes. The difference here is, that many Muslims still believe in the old orthodoxy.... ( of course there are some who moved into 21 Century....), inforunately many did not.
