Most homeless people are either drug addicts, drunks or head cases of some sort -- it has been this way as long as I can remember. Why don't you invite a homeless person to live in your basement? I am being facetious but you get my point. Why don't you hire a homeless man to cut your lawn or paint your house. This is Reganomics -- let the charities care for people not the government. If veterans come back from war and are fucked up mentally from wartime service they should be helped by the government -- I have no problem with that. However, someone that served during peacetime and got a paycheck and the normal veteran benefits; got his pay to do a job -- he deserves what we all are entitled to in addition and nothing more.
