Before his campaign he could control the info that made it out there to the public and you never got to see what he didn't want you to see.
Once he started running he couldn't hide anything nor control the info that made it to the public. And once he started getting hit with negative attacks, and scrutinized, people got to see the real Chump and not the facade. They can edit The Apprentice to make him look good, but can't edit real life!
