True story....
back in the day, a close friend of mine was sending him 100 joins a day. he flew to a show from europe and wanted to meet and talk to him for a couple minutes - they had both agreed to this. i forget the exact words but he basically told him he didn't have time for him and brushed him off in a super rude way. my friend shut off all traffic that day and sent it to nasty dollars. that was around the same exact time mike was posting pics of his cars (his ferrari / S7 / bmw at the track for those who remember), which made it even more offensive.
in those years, he never once reached out to him. never once tried to contact him. never once sent a thank you note. never once wanted to talk to him. never once even sent him a token "thank you gift" or anything where other sponsors were giving away mercedes, ferraris, escalades and vipers at the time for less.
the point being... if thats how he treated someone that sent him 100 joins a day for a few years straight, i don't think you can expect a friendly reply to a simple email when you are nobody sending 3 joins a quarter. if i had to guess, he's broke and bitter by now and has been for years and cares less than ever.
