WEll incase anyone is interested, I have had a result. Just heard back from a 'higher up' so to speak and this is what they have said.
The No Refunds policy is infact correct, however under the circumstances, they WERE at fault for not offering me an alternative viewing time. So they apologised for that.
Regarding the 'skype' issue, policy states electronic devices are not allowed to be pointed at the screen however again under the circumstances, they understood why we had done it, and recognised that there had been no attempt to 'conceal' the phone.
They standby the 'kicking out' of my son and his wife, but have lifted their 'lifetime ban' from the cinema chain. I have also been refunded in full the cost of the three tickets to my card.
Result, but I wont be going back there again
