Time moves at different speeds depending on the dream layer. Complex doesn't begin to describe Inception.

i disagree, it wasn't complex.
the deeper the dreamlayer, the slower the time went. Let's take a factor of 60 for example:
Real world sleeping: 1 second
Dreamlayer 1: 1 minute
Dreamlayer 2: 1 hour
Dreamlayer 3: 60 hours
Very linear and not complex.
The spinning thing was a gimmick to leave people in the dark in the end. "will it fall? Or is this a dreamlayer as well? Oh my!" The end.
Now it was pretty entertaining and that's what movies are about. It was just a linear adventure movie, but instead of physically going to locations in James Bond movies, this used the dreamlayers for that.
