well why not - that is at least nearer to democracy as 2 parties with only 2 opposite positions. there are far more positions than 2 and a goverment should represant the positions of ALL citizens.
infact my own idea of a reasonable (not perfect) democracy is even more radical.
i would not allow parties at all or at least no fraction pressure.
I really would love to see Macron winning in France and give him the chance to show, that a good politic does not need a membership in a party or any ideology. But the chance for him is really not too big because the old habits are too deeply rooted.
