Outdoor Retailer (industry convention) eyes move from Utah due to "Republicans"

Patagonia, a major outdoor gear company has stated it will boycott the Outdoor Retailer industry convention which has taken place in Salt Lake City, Utah for years. It brings millions of dollars in revenue to the state/city every year but that's now on the line due to the state Republican party & the Governor..

Before Obama left office he made Bears Ears a National Monument which was supported by a an enormous amount of people all except the boo hoo Republicans in Utah which are asking Trump to resend it's status as a National Monument. Lots of people fought a long time to make this park a national monument but Republicans hate anything good it seems..

Article on it.. Patagonia drops out of Outdoor Retailer over Utah leaders' opposition to Bears Ears | The Salt Lake Tribune

Republicans don't seem to think this should be protected as a National Monument it seems..

As you can see Bears Ears has a lot of Native Indian history and beautiful landscapes which should be preserved with-in our National Park system. Yet Republicans seem to hate America. Seems Republicans in Utah also hate jobs in their state. Sad.
