Its as I thought, you don't know any muslim people and all you know of them are what you see on TV. I've met and know quite a few from a pretty good mix of countries. In fact my former neighbor was a pilot from Sudan, who also went to Iraq as an interpreter for our troops. Almost all of them I've met have been very good people.

I'll also tell you a secret, not one of them ever attempted to push their religion on me or preach to me, which is more than I can say for Christians.

In fact the only Muslim guy I've ever met in this country who was an asshole was a guy from Iraq. He had been there through the wars and you could tell he was affected by his experience. Even this guy was typically polite but certain things would set him off sort of like any soldier with ptsd.

Obviously there are Muslims on the other end of this spectrum but it's going to be an extremely rare amount in this country. People who come here are very well vetted, it's not a case of Muslims jumping the boarder and refusing to fit in like they have in Europe.

Trying to lump them all into one group is very ignorant.
