I would love to see the US go back to the moon. It's risky, it's expensive, but the payoffs can be "Yuuuge". The water recently found on the moon could help support longer stays and be used to make fuel. The It can also be used as a jump-off point to go to Mars or to nearby asteroids for mineral mining. If Trump can get us there before killing us all, I will be impressed.
