2) Trump learned 3 weeks ago that National Security Advisor Flyn had lied to the VP and did nothing, condoning lying to the VO.

3) After the media reported this, only then did Trump ask for Flynn's resignation.

Trump knowing Flynn lied, and initially doing nothing, means he either instructed Flynn to lie to the VP or Flynn was acting on Trumps orders to talk with Russia before he was president (coluding with the enemy).

Either way it traces back to Trump and the story has legz, investigations have begun, and it will be a slow drip drip drip while political death by a thousand cuts.
