that's what I heard...no more beer in paper bags or joints on the streets...
It wasn't only bodegas, but record stores, flower shops, etc...and of course 8th street, washington sq....but I'm sure you know the deal, pornwolf ;-)
hell, there was a flower shop where they made you buy a flower in addition to a nickel...so all us hippie kids would be walking out of this store with a flower in our hand all day...hehe
