I am lost..... What has Sweden got to do with the US?
1) Sweden had an open border policy so anyone could just walk in.
The US has never had or never thought about doing anything like that.
2) Swedens open borders let in around 200,000 refugees or 2% of their total population in 2016 alone. That would be the same as the US taking 6.5 million refugees without any sort of paperwork.
