Meanwhile in a metro like Denver or New York we have pretty good public transportation however it's not going to be as easy to go from say Denver to Salt Lake City by public transport station because it's very far away and in another state. Meaning you typically need to rent a car or hop on an airplane ect.. It's just not the same as going from Paris, France to say Tours, France.

The fast speed trains in Europe go from country to country like from Amsterdam to Brussels and than Paris.
Al railways always have been connected to other countries. A lot of cargo is going by train in Europe.
I can compare to Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and many other coutries with good transport systems. The tourist love it, going from city to city.
