If these aliens were so smart, (which they should be, because they are more advanced than humans) Then, why didn't they take the initiative and 'run the classroom' ? They stood there and let the mice (humans) attempt to teach them.
Wouldn't it be much easier the other way around?
These brilliant aliens could've had the classroom all set up, ready for the mice to learn.
And they never disclosed any issues on backward writing in the film. I think it's a huge flaw.
But those flaws weren't as bad as the film not having an ending, and didn't answer the big questions in the film. Who, how, why? etc... they just took the needle off the record and thought it would be cool to wrap the film early. Mega flaws.
