I haven't watched any of them because I found the premise to be ridiculous and knew it was a not so thinly veiled political commentary right from the start.

Plot[edit]
In 2014, the New Founding Fathers of America, a far right political party inspired by the Founding Fathers of the United States, are voted into office following an economic collapse and pass the 28th Amendment which sanctions an annual national civic tradition called "The Purge", the first of which takes place in 2017.

Of course it is a "far right" (left speak for republican/conservative) party that implements the purge even though it was far left parties that were responsible for the massive real life purges of the 20th century. It is the left that has a huge abortion fetish where hundreds of thousands are "pre-purged" every year. And all of those gang bangers "purging" themselves each and every day are not exactly "far right wingers" inspired by the Founding Fathers.
