The only ones that the judges on the Court might give a straight answer to is the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence -- they can get answers from the FISA court in closed session. "national security" -- they were investigating Russian bank transfers is what I read.
This is what happens when the national security clause is invoked and secret courts used.
All the anonymous sources have political interests so far. I guess a committee finding is as reliable as we will get.
