BTW, I'm 46 and I have NEVER seen an armed policeman except for at airports and London stations and I have never, ever heard of any British police wearing balaclava's. I know this is WeHatePorn territory but the very fact that those police were wearing balaclavas is simply astonishing and shows that the true story of this "child" asylum seeker hasn't been told.

Please America, take in refugees/asylum seekers because we sure as hell don't want them.

We've taken in 3 million refugees since 1980. 110,000 last year alone. That's only refugees not immigrants who go through the normal immigration process.

Oh and any American who is anti immigration (no immigrants allowed) needs to think twice. Out population growth is stunted and without new blood we don't have people to so the low paying jobs like taking care of the elderly, sewage administration, garbage removak, etc.

Yeah, that worked well for us in the UK, wages have crashed all around. Who needs to employ a British person for a working wage who has a family to support when they can employ an east European on the bare minimum who lives ten/fifteen to a flat sharing costs and sending the rest of the money out of the country. yes, eg SO10 (go by some different name now I believe) who deal with organised crime etc. Which by the bare details I read just in the pic (4 people helping the escapee) sounds possibly/probably gangster-related.

If it wasn't so fucking expensive to have a normal standard of living here people would be having more kids.

When I lived in Australia for 5 years the standard of living was great, most people owned a home and a rental, standardized healthcare, flat tax and $18 an hour MINIMUM wage.

If we don't either make it less expensive to have children, or continue to bring in immigrants, we are fucked.
