Well, this is logical. This is the game of the numbers. There is a bigger chance that a male terrorist will take out more infidels than the female or a kid. So, priorities are priorities.
On the top of that, male terrorists will reproduce more easily. They will have sex with goats. If you let a woman survive, most of the people will avoid her when she arrives. At home, she could be stoned to death anyway, so it is a real luck she managed this far.
