I saw Gold and Moonrise Kingdom on the same day.
What a beautiful difference a movie shot in 35mm is.
A lot of us old people still go to the mall because we like to talk, have coffee and often see a movie in the cinema. So I literally got to see a movie, "Gold," in one theater and afterwords I decided to go see the special showing of "Moonrise Kingdom" right after it.
The colours, the depth, the lighting, etc.
No fucking comparison in the quality difference between the beauty of film and the shit shot on video.
