And "yes"...wiretapping has ALWAYS been slang for surveillance in general. It was the way that the FBI took down the mafia and was used in movie after movie and news report after news report since the day the first phone was ever "tapped" because all phones were land lines.

In addition Fox "News" will not vouch for the accuracy of the contributors statements. Judge Napolitano was the Fox "News" contributor.

Trump is 70 years old. He speaks in language that was used for the majority of his lifetime.
So do I.

No, teenagers and young 20 somethings would never call it "wire tapping" because they don't use anything with "wires".

But I immediately understood it as did millions of other people.
And those "reporters" know it damn well too.

No matter how you want to parse words or spin it...Trump was being SPIED on by the Feds. That's the fact. And Trump revealed that in his Tweet and the media instantly proclaimed him to be wrong.
Just like they have over so many other things he has said...and he just keeps making them look dumb.
Nunes himself did not say what you are saying. I am older than you and in my lifetime "wire tap" meant exactly that and never in my life time has it meant anything other than being "wire tapped" does it also mean that you are being survielled, yes. The president was not being survielled and everyone that has investigated this matter including Nunes has stated that there is zero proof that he was. I am sure that you and others will spin it in whatever way you choose to spin it.

Also as I have pointed out the Donald had no inside information about having his "wires tapped" he admits that he got the information by watching Fox news and immediately started tweeting, multiple tweets based upon what a fox news contributor said. He even tweeted that Obama "a bad, sick" person. All based upon a "contributors" report. What a fucking joke.
