Want Jobs...
Build refinery in Canada and pipe it to the west coast and export it yourself.
Then you could have all the jobs !
Land is being taken from citizens here in the name of jobs (for who?) to aid a foreign company or two ! To refine and ship outside the U.S.
Funny those company's are not taking Canadian's land for 99% of this.
And since that thick tar sands oil is priced about 1/2 wti oil, I'm not sure it's even worth piping it to the refinery.
And who gets to keep the toxins produced under the old grandfathered refinery's down here. Like to build a pipeline to send that back. Those profits don't stay here. Why should the toxins.
Jobs are contrary to profits but they sure sell that idea to you and everyone buys it.
They don't mind creating temporary jobs as a means to get rid of permanent jobs.
Why must everyone's profits come at my expense.
Be careful what you wish for 'cause you only actually get what you demand.
Everything else is a sales gimmick.
