I don't think he is arguing for or against immigrants, he is saying Republicans lie to their base about wanting to stop them.
This is something I've said many times.. People like Trump hire immigrants because they are cheap labor. All those big business doers of the Republican party hire immigrants because it means less pay out more profits..
Republicans have no intention of ever doing anything about immigrants, they just lie to their base year after year..
Hell I can remember illegal immigrants being an issue during Bill Clintons campaigns. Then we had Bush Jr and you never heard a word about them his entire 8 years.. After that when Obama was in office suddenly they are a problem again....
Trump talked about building his wall everyday on his campaign.. When was the last time he mentioned it since he's been in office?
