I have purchased two of these and both had the same problem. They stop working. They won't turn on within 6 months from purchase. I sent them back to Fuji. They sent me an email saying they received the camera and would notify me. That was from a "noreply" email nearly a year ago. I use these cameras for work and will never purchase a Fuji camera again.

I bought this camera 2 years ago and used it exactly twice. Once in Mexico snorkeling. Worked fine. Then in the Dominican Republic last week. I never open battery compartment after I left for there. Used it snorkeling no problem. Used it for land pics. No problem. Used it in water again (same day)and the dam thing leaked. Never dropped it. Never opened battery compartment. I read about other people having same problem. Heck of a thing plan a vacation for a year and a product you use twice ruins your memory's.

We purchased this for our daughter who is traveling overseas and we charged it and tested it before she left. It worked fine. She got there and it won't turn on. She's tried everything. We will be returning this camera and not recommending it. So disappointed!

I recently bought this camera for a trip I took to Indonesia. Unfortunately, it broke the first time I used it... the screen went completely black and wouldn't turn on (still doesn't turn on). Maybe I just had bad luck but I was pretty disappointed that it broke the first time I used it.
