I am talking about my opinion. Yes, it is better than S7, but since everyone was talking about it like it's the next big thing, there are no MAJOR improvements in comparison to S7.
Since you have an S7 Edge, S8 is definitely better since the edges don't take so much 'space' on the screen, but in general, I don't see any huge changes, still I am no expert.
