But let's not bullshit ourselves. The calls for higher minimum wages hurt the poor the most, the calls for more government programs make everyone poorer (more taxation), calls for more regulation and higher taxation leads to job losses.
These are all leftist policies.

we pay at least double the amount of taxes here and our unemployment rate is pretty decent right now so you can scratch that one off your list. I'm not a fan of raising minimum wage either but because of the inflation reasons, jobs will not be effected by this unless you flip burgers anyway.
None of this is partisan. The lack of jobs is due to the lack of growth in your nation. Until your country decides to build again that isn't going to change.
