In the article they are suggesting https but at the same time that's only to appease paranoid users, it won't actually protect their privacy but more just makes them feel safe.

I think this all sucks a ton of ass, what do you all think?
Old news, but still worrying. The internet is already fraught with security issues without letting someone have legal access to you browsing history. I don't think its paranoid to worry about shit like this.
