But it seems it is just a matter of who's cost that is.

I really get tired of those among us here in the states that repeat the spin on
'The Government should not tell me what to do'
The politicians are only referring to corporate America.

I say good, lets get rid of all the stop signs and street lights and roads and development for medicine and by the way, I'm buying the property next door to dump of all this mercury I don't know what to do with along with some other stuff I can't even pronounce.
I should be able to do whatever I want. I don't need the government to tell me what to do. So when that mercury poisons your kids, get the tax payers to clean it up.
Oh... but your kids need medical care you can't afford. Well don't look for the taxpayer to bail you out.

Politicians promote these ideas but not fully explained. And when they win their elections for it, they give only removal of the rules to the folks that do most of the bad things we don't want, that were hard fought for and normally many had been harmed by before the actions were taken. But by amnesia, we don't remember how they got there.

Rules they can't get rid of so obviously, they defund that part of the government so that they are not capable to enforce them or even monitor the situation. At least till the next crisis.

But right now, they have created such suspicion of the government themselves, they have to resort to putting the blame on someone else for it to prevent the deeper look.
It's the easy scape-goat.
But caught in their own lies, they are finding it hard to govern. This is what we see in the news.

Nobody cared how the wall was going to be paid for. It was not suppose to be us.
So why does it need built if we need to pay for it. That was not the plan.

And in the future, you will wonder where the funding is coming from to re-pave that road or upgrade those water and sewage plants. Or wonder how that poison food got to your table.
All the funding will come from private companies who will form a cartel and squeeze every last drop of money out of the population.

Why does the Wall need to be built? To preserve the living standards of Americans. The problem is they don't want to pay for it to save their standard of living. Maybe if the Government decided to raise their taxes to cover the costs Automation, Globalisation and mass migration they might change their minds.
