As for Assad, he is secular, does not cut hands . He is trying to keep Syria as a Nation ( against the will of the USA andd Israel ) against jihadist foreign fighters supported by SA, Quatar, Bahrain and the USA....
Same as what Iraq is doing now in Mosul... I do not see outrage from you about those civilians ....
What would the US do if they were attacked by foreign rebels, taking over territory, while bering supported by Russia or China ?
