Sorry to hear about your losses and situation. I know how it is to struggle and was in a bad spot myself not too long ago. Just remember it's the tough times that make us all stronger and better people. Those that never had to struggle don't have a clue!

Now that I am able to pay all of my bills on time, I feel the need to try to help someone else get out of that hole also.

I sent you some money via paypal. I don't have much extra but I do have extra and if I can spend $4 for a pack of smokes I sure can afford to send you some money to at least eat with or pay part of their rent etc.

No worries about paying me back, you have enough to deal with as it is!!

Even though I do not know this person, I have to thank those that are generous enough to help a stranger when he's down as it reassures me there are still caring people out there.

For those calling it a scam etc is getting "scammed" out of $10-$100 going to hurt your wallets? That's if it is a scam which I doubt! And if it is, so what, your only out a few bucks and had the chance to make a difference in someone's life and that is priceless.

If everyone here sent him $1 he's at least be able to pay his rent. He has enough on his mind to deal with without worrying about losing his home!
