About 20 years ago I was brought in to consult with Feather Falls Casino. It was late night when the car brought me into that town. I noticed way too many people walking around like Zombies wearing dark sunglasses. I'm thinking WTF, not realizing I said it out loud.
Driver replied, "it was payday, and gov checks got cashed so everyone was high". Apparently their eyes get sensative to the street lights.
