I ended up jumping over a security barrier chased closely by 2 guards with machine guns, to get to British Airways offices so that i could switch flights as Veaza didn't have another flight from Venezuela for 5 days to the UK ?
Veaza had to pay for a hotel for myself and my girlfriend plus all the food and drink. I threw a pool party and charged it all to my room, must have cost the airline a small fortune, fuck them!
Its unusual for an airline to remove passenger from a flight in favor of staff unless they are dead heading (they need to get to another flight or it will be cancelled) They have to travel on a D2 card which is upgraded to a D1 in cases like this. What United did was untenable and i hope they get sued to hell and back.
Its already costing them millions on paper, ww.marketwatch.com/story/uniteds-stock-is-set-to-fall-5-and-wipe-1-billion-off-the-airlines-market-cap-2017-04-11
